How do you like your hot chocolate? Some like it with just a hint of cinnamon and some like it with almond milk. Some like to add some a touch of coconut as topping and some like to make it super fancy! We like it with vegan marshmallows and freshly made almond milk in our house.
Lets face it though we like our hot chocolate how we like it, and in a way that is our special little ritual.
We like to make a ritual out of making this delicious concoction and are very happy to share it with you! From making your own almond milk, a little bit of this and a little bit of that to gathering all the ingredients it's your process to do what you please!
As you can see we take our creation testing very seriously LOL! Here we wanted to see what our Chai Spice and Golden Milk tasted like with our Hot Cosmos. Chai Spice won our tastebuds in this one. So we have included that in our recipe video.
When we created Raw Cosmos it was meant to be a dessert alternative that folks could easily get all the wonderful benefits of herbs, fruits and mushrooms while still tasting like delicious chocolate. Obviously it has taken a journey of it's own and we are only along for the ride. For today we will be focusing on using it as a alternative to your normal plain cocoa in your favorite hot chocolate recipe. Ingredients for 2 servings:
2 cups Milk (whatever you prefer we love Almond Milk)
1/4 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/4 cup Raw Cosmos
1/8 tsp Chai Spice (optional)
Add the milk and Chai Spice (optional) to a saucepan to heat up. You don't want to scorch or boil the milk, just heat it to a steam to melt the chocolate chips. Once your close to a steam add both Raw Cosmos and chocolate chips stir until the chocolate is fully melted and remove from the heat. Pour into your favorite mugs and enjoy!
